PT VENTENY Fortuna International Tbk (VENTENY), successfully recorded a positive performance throughout 2022 with revenue of IDR 73 billion, an increase of 83% from the same period the previous year. In line with revenue growth, VENTENY also recorded an increase in profit from IDR 3.6 billion in 2021 to IDR 5.5 billion in 2022 before tax.
This achievement reflects VENTENY’s commitment to support the growth of MSMEs and to improve employee happiness in Indonesia. The increase in revenue was mainly supported by an increase in the disbursement of growth funding to MSMEs, where VENTENY successfully channeled growth funding of IDR 1.2 trillion in 2022, an increase of 64% from 2021 of IDR 765 billion. Currently, VENTENY services have spread across the islands of Java, Lampung, South Sumatera, and parts of Kalimantan. VENTENY is committed to expand its services in Indonesia and also in Southeast Asia to support the growth of MSMEs and the economy, especially in Indonesia.
In addition, VENTENY has also succeeded in capturing demand from the employees community by providing solutions through the VENTENY Employee Super-app which consists of Financial Technology, Education Technology, Lifestyle Technology and
Health Technology services. Revenue from the VENTENY Employee Super-app service, which was just launched in 2021, contributed to 13% of total revenue in 2022, and achieved an increase of 397% from June 2022. Currently there are more than 50,000 active users who use the application every month that continues to grow along with the growth of MSMEs and business partners who collaborate with VENTENY.
“VENTENY’s positive achievements while operating in Indonesia cannot be separated from our consistency to always be able to provide excellent service and become a solution for all VENTENY business partners. We provide end-to-end solutions for business owners and MSMEs, starting from growth funding for business growth to improving the welfare of its human resources through the VENTENY Employee Super-app. I am very proud of VENTENY’s growth which is hand in hand with the government’s plans to improve the post-Covid 19 National Economy in Indonesia.” Said Jun Waide, Founder and Group CEO of VENTENY.
Jun Waide continued, “At VENTENY, we believe that whatever we do must have a significant impact on the aspects of people, planet and profit which are part of our focus on ESG (Environment Social Governance), therefore we are committed to continue contributing to empower MSMEs and employees to reduce the financing gap which will also indirectly have a positive impact on the stability and performance of the VENTENY business in the future.”
VENTENY Group COO, Damar Raditya added, “We are very optimistic about welcoming the company’s growth in 2023. VENTENY is actively and carefully looking for new opportunities that can accelerate the business acceleration of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia. ”
According to the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartanto quoted from the Kompas page, MSMEs contribute almost 61% to gross domestic product (GDP) by absorbing 97% of the workforce. The growth of MSMEs has become one of the driving wheels of the Indonesian economy after Covid 19. This is in line with VENTENY’s vision and mission to be part of the development of MSMEs in Indonesia.
