Jakarta, 24 May 2022 – PT VENTENY Fortuna International (VENTENY) through its subsidiary, PT VENTENY Matahari Indonesia, has entered into a strategic partnership with PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk (Bank Danamon) in order to support the growth of the MSME business. This collaboration is in the form of providing a Term Credit loan facility from Bank Danamon to VENTENY, which can then be accessed by VENTENY MSME partners through the V-Financial feature. This collaboration has been effective since April 21, 2022.
CEO & Founder of VENTENY Junichiro Waide said, “This collaboration is established thanks to the aligned vision and mission of VENTENY and Danamon, to complement each other’s service ecosystem in order to present strategic digital solutions for customers/customers. This collaboration helps us to channel bigger and wider funding to MSME partners.”
Not only for business acceleration, as a company that focuses on seeking employee happiness, MSME partners can also take advantage of the V-Financial feature to provide loans for their employees. Currently, the majority of VENTENY’s MSME partners do not yet have a benefit scheme for their employees due to limited financial capacity and understanding, in fact, benefits are factors that make employees survive so that the MSME business can be more sustainable.
PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk Global Strategic Cooperation Director Naoki Mizoguchi said, “Bank Danamon also appreciates the collaboration with VENTENY, as an innovative company that has a unique business model and focuses on increasing employee happiness, especially MSME workers. The expected positive impact is that VENTENY is getting stronger and growing in entering the Indonesian market with the best innovations it brings.
The Term Credit Service is a product of Enterprise Banking Danamon, which is a short-term working capital loan facility that offers flexibility for customers to extend the loan tenor. This V-Financial feature can be utilized by more than 200 B2B (business to business) users with more than 200,000 VENTENY user bases with operational areas spread across four major cities, namely JABODETABEK, Surabaya, Lampung and Bandung.
Bank Danamon’s collaboration with VENTENY is proof of Bank Danamon’s unique capabilities as a hybrid bank. Bank Danamon itself is affiliated with MUFG Bank, the largest bank in Japan, which provides an opportunity for Bank Danamon to establish strong relationships with Japanese and non-Japanese multinational companies.
The similarity of background between the founders of VENTENY and MUFG Bank, namely originating from Japan, provides greater space for collaboration between the two. That way, it is hoped that in the future there will be many new innovations and local companies, especially MSMEs, which will have easy access to work with companies from the land of Sakura.
“The collaboration with VENTENY shows Bank Danamon’s commitment to realizing our brand promise, which is to provide financial solutions so that customers can take control of their financial needs and goals,” concluded Naoki.
VENTENY Group Chief Operating Officer Damar Raditya added, “The provision of term credit capital facilities is the first step in the collaboration built by VENTENY with Bank Danamon. That way, in the future there will be more and more innovations and new services that are born with the best quality from Indonesian MSMEs, “concluded Damar.
