Revenue from the VENTENY Employee Super App contributed 35% of the total revenue, amounting to Rp 64.2 billion in 2023, a 671% increase from the previous year. This includes synergies with several companies, one of which is with the Koperasi Pegawai dan Pensiunan Perum and BULOG retirees through the VENTENY Employee Super App. In this collaboration, the Employee Super App service facilitates the daily needs of all employees and members of KOPEL BULOG.
Another revenue contribution was derived from the sales and development of information technology products, contributing 22% of the total revenue, amounting to Rp 40.2 billion in 2023, up 347% from 2022. This achievement aligns with the Company’s commitment as a technology company to enhance the development of MSMEs in conducting their businesses through technological innovation.
“VENTENY’s success in 2023 is not without the support of stakeholders and partners who have become VENTENY’s allies, reaffirming VENTENY’s position as a trusted partner for businesses and MSMEs in Indonesia in meeting productive financing needs and helping companies improve their employees’ welfare. We are proud to contribute to the Indonesian economy,” said Jun Waide, Founder and Group CEO of VENTENY.
Furthermore, the Company continued to achieve positive performance by recording a comprehensive income of Rp 1.8 billion in 2023, up 50% from Rp 1.2 billion in 2022. The net profit for the year 2023 was recorded at Rp 131.7 million.
In 2023, VENTENY made significant investments and technological developments in preparation to support the Company’s future business. In terms of MSME sector development, VENTENY consolidated its business last year with PT Lampung Berkah Finansial Teknologi (Lahan Sikam), the first peer-to-peer lending (P2P) company outside of Java, which now has a vast network in Sumatra. Cahan Sikam has provided productive financing to thousands of SMEs in agriculture, fisheries, and animal husbandry, especially in the Lampung region.
Additionally, VENTENY strengthened its business line through a 30% ownership stake in PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia (DPI). This strategic step further solidifies VENTENY as Indonesia’s first and largest employee super app. It assists HR departments and VENTENY’s partner companies in providing alternative employee salary payment methods through e-money products.
Lie Kienata, Group CFO, added, “VENTENY’s growth in 2023 is further reinforced by the development of the latest technology systems implemented in every feature we designed. In 2023, we recorded a comprehensive profit of Rp 1.8 billion. We have significantly invested in strengthening our technology infrastructure while enhancing our business ecosystem through share ownership strategies in several entities to support the Company.”
VENTENY, as a provider of productive financing for MSMEs and an Employee Super App for employees, will continue to support sustainability programs in running VENTENY’s business, which is anchored in sustainability. This is aligned with the government’s program to create Indonesia Emas 2045.
